Hi- I’m Louis Ackerman. I make paintings that hover between reality and representation, and try to find details where imaginative augmentation can enrich both story and visual appeal.

Making designs hum and vibrate is at the core of my practice, with lots of colors and motion-filled illustrations. I enjoy getting outside to research/create and getting that into the hands of people who will treasure it for years to come.
